Sapori Trattoria

Delicious Italian food served with style in a fun upscale vibe restaurant. Enjoyed every aspect of our evening at Sapori… from the valet service on a Saturday night, our reserved table was available when we arrived despite them being very busy, the server was attentive, but not overly and the food was tasty and wonderfully presented. Everyone at our table enjoyed themselves and it appeared that all the guests that evening were doing the same. We were a little disappointed that they were out of Gelato… but we enjoyed the homemade Tiramisu instead.

Amazing dinner experience! The service was amazing and fast. The portions are very generous so no need to order individual plates. 4 of us split the two pastas below and had leftovers!

I had the most incredible time dining al fresco at Sapori Trattoria. For a weeknight in the city in late summer, the atmosphere was warm and lively - just like the food!

Sapori Trattoria is hands down one of the my favorite Italian dining experiences in Chicago. Everything was exceptional, the service was attentive, and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and exceeded expectations. We started with the whipped ricotta toast and charred octopus, both beautifully plated and would definitely order both again. For mains, the Pennette Cardinale and Spaghetti allo Scoglio were standout dishes, both rich, comforting, and large portions. A scoop of smooth Sicilian pistachio gelato was a delicious end. Highly recommend for a date night or any occasion where you want a memorable meal, and sit on the patio if you can!

We made a reservation for dinner and were seated in a small room with 5 or 6 tables in it. The atmosphere was nice, the lighting was dim and it was quiet. We ordered a Caesar salad, two lasagne’s and a rigatoni bolognese. Everything was very good. I especially liked the lasagne. Our server was Liz and she was nice and personable. We will come back again and try something different next time. I have no complaints about this place. The bill was $131 including the tip.

My favorite kind of night always includes cozy vibes and amazing food and Sapori Trattoria in Lincoln Park delivered both beautifully. From the moment I walked in, I fell in love with the charming ambiance and welcoming service. Here’s what I ordered: – Whipped ricotta toast – Insalata Stella – Risotto ai funghi – Braised short rib (my absolute favorite!) – Cannoli cheesecake Every single bite felt like a hug. The flavors were rich, comforting, and clearly made with love. Whether you’re looking for a romantic night out or a comforting solo dinner, this place is a gem. Can’t wait to come back!

I love the atmosphere here. Very small and intimate. They have a great pasta menu with lots to choose from. If you don’t want pasta they have other options too. The service is really great and attentive too. Do not skip an espresso martini here, super good!!! I’ve become obsessed with whipped ricotta recently so do not skip that as your appetizer!
